The Glasgow ASN Mummy became a registered charity in April 2025, but our journey started long before that — with one mum in East Renfrewshire looking for more inclusive spaces for her child. What began as a small community of parents sharing support has now grown into a charity run by four dedicated mums, each raising children with additional support needs (ASN).
Our mission is simple: to create safe, welcoming spaces for children with ASN and to support the wellbeing and connection of their families. We understand the joys and challenges of parenting children with additional needs, because we live it every day.
We also work closely with local businesses to help them become more ASN-friendly, offering advice and awareness to make the wider community more inclusive and understanding for all families.
At The Glasgow ASN Mummy, we believe that when children and parents feel supported, the whole community thrives.
